Jazz in the Park has been a Milwaukee summer tradition since 1991, and we’re excited to share what’s in store for 2026. Every Thursday evening from June through September, Cathedral Square Park comes alive with free live music in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. At its core a jazz series, Jazz in the Park has grown to celebrate a wide range of genres — from salsa and swing to blues, funk, tribute nights, and fan favorites that get you moving. Produced by East Town Association and presented by Johnson Financial Group, it’s one of the most beloved free events in the city.
New in 2026, Jazz in the Park will be preceded each Thursday by Cathedral Square Market, beginning at 3 PM, creating an extended evening of community, food, and entertainment in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. The market’s move to Thursdays came directly from vendor and community feedback, and East Town Association is excited about what the new format will bring to Cathedral Square Park all summer long.

2026 Jazz in the Park VIP Experiences are back!
Everyone’s favorite seat in the house is back for the 2026 season, thanks to Johnson Financial Group and OnMilwaukee. Enjoy the show from a reserved picnic table with exclusive benefits. Each reservation includes the ability to order specialty food & priority drinks, plus access to a reserved restroom. Tables seat up to six guests, and sell out quickly.
