14th Annual Milwaukee Oktoberfest Returns to Cathedral Square Park
Celebrate German Culture with Live Music, Food, and Activities October 4-6
Kegel’s Inn and Swarmm Events partner for a fourth year, alongside East Town Association and Milwaukee County Parks to host “Milwaukee Oktoberfest” in Cathedral Square Park, October 4-6, 2024. This year’s event will also be supported by Jägermeister, Beer Capitol, Leinenkugel’s, Hofbrau, and Gruber Law.
“After 14 years of working on Milwaukee Oktoberfest, I’m proud to see how it has continued to grow. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Cathedral Square Park, and look forward to another amazing festival,” said Michael Sampson, founder of Swarmm Events.
This family-friendly event will feature live German music, with performances by Alte Kammeraden, Polka Floyd, Tally Ho, The Mike Schneider Band, and more. The fest will also include traditional German dance groups, a Stein Hoisting Competition, a Miss Oktoberfest Competition, a Cornhole Tournament, and a Wiener Dog Beauty Pageant. Plus, don’t miss a special viewing of the Packer game on Sunday, October 6.
“Milwaukee Oktoberfest is a great example of how we can use free entertainment to bring our community together while supporting Milwaukee’s amazing small businesses, artists, and musicians,” said Eddie Sturkey, executive director of East Town Association.
Festival-goers can shop vendors while they enjoy authentic German food provided by Kegel’s Inn and a selection of German beers from Hofbrau, Beer Capitol, and other Oktoberfest favorites, including local brews from Leinenkugel’s, Lakefront Brewery, and Black Husky Brewing.
“As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, we’re thrilled to again be partnering with Swarmm Events and East Town Association to host Milwaukee Oktoberfest. We look forward to sharing our passion for German cuisine with the Milwaukee community,” said Julian Kegell, fourth generation proprietor of Kegell’s Inn.
