Since 1967, the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF), a nonprofit organization based in Milwaukee, has raised over $208 million in support of major-league performing arts organizations. In 2009, UPAF's annual community-wide fundraising campaign is allocating over $8.3 million to 36 Member and Affiliate performing arts organizations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
