Sulakshana Jayaram, an acclaimed exponent of Bharatanatyam—a classical dance form from the South of India—will present a 30-minute performance entitled Rasotsav. A celebration of emotions, the performance will showcase traditional choreography, followed by an interactive and informal workshop.
Participants will be introduced to the basic techniques of Nritta—pure dance movement—and Abhinaya—the art of conveying emotions through expression. Explore stylized body movements to the rhythms and songs of classical Indian music!
