About Us

East Town Association, a nonprofit established in 1963, is dedicated to promoting growth and vitality in Milwaukee’s East Town area. For over 60 years, we’ve hosted cherished free community events like Bastille Days, Storm the Bastille 5k Run/Walk, Jazz in the Park, Milwaukee Oktoberfest, and Cathedral Square Market, creating opportunities for community connection, cultural celebration, and support for local businesses and individuals who make Milwaukee extraordinary.

In 2024 alone, our events provided:

  • 33+ days of free community programming
  • Support for over 191 local vendors and 113 musicians, including many group acts
  • Economic benefits through tourism, business activity, and park revitalization
