Can you tell us a little bit about your business?
Yes. We are a small to mid sized company that focuses on emerging businesses as far as their technology needs go. Anywhere from day to day support, their server requirements, security, also growth in the workplace, and training their employees on security risks. We focus on different verticals, anywhere from healthcare, to manufacturing, legal, to auto dealerships. A different variation of companies, so we are able to acquire some resources from different companies and apply it to others.
Tell us how long you have been a member, and how long you’ve been in the neighborhood?
We recently just joined East Town Association as a member, but we’ve been in this neighborhood like 8 – 9 years.
So as your time here in East Town goes on, as your business starts to grow, do you have more clients and more people interested in your services? And is it because of the East Town area’s growth, seeing more businesses and even more residential dwellings close by?
Sure. Even our business in the last several years as we’ve been growing, and we just felt that Milwaukee is a great location, even where we are located is a great location for our customers and even ourselves. We believe in that work-life balance, making sure that people can get to our office, and get back and forth. Making sure that we can handle the customer base that we have within the surrounding 50 miles, and the highway is around the corner in each direction.
Our goal is to help businesses like yourself, we hope that some of our services has helped and has made sense for you?
It has, we recently just did a “Lunch & Learn” with you guys, which I thought was beneficial. It was a good event, and we are able to supply some kind of resources, as technology thought leaders, but also to be engaged in the community as a whole – I think it is good for everyone to thrive.
What specifically do you offer to Milwaukee businesses?
We offer a different approach of providing technology. I think a lot of people are very threatened by technology, not knowing too much about what’s going on. You here in the news about cyber crimes and all these risk factors. Our job is to empower our employees and also empower our customers, as far as the training and a knowledge base, making sure that they feel comfortable and that they can sleep at night, that we are there and knowing that we have their back. What’s unique with our business is that we are involved with regular visits with our customers, so it’s more of a partnership opposed to us just dictating what needs to done or how do we do it. We involve the owners of the business and we kind of make it mandatory that we meet with them at least quarterly and talk with them about what all needs to happen as their business grows and their needs change, and help direct them down the right path.
What are your goals over the next five years?
Our goals for the next 5 years is to basically double our business, and we are putting the right steps in place, and the right employees to make this happen. Relocating to the building we are in, actually was a great step in the right direction. We have all the amenities near us, and there is a plethora of associations and companies that happen to be downtown here and some happen to be in the building that we are in. So, in the next 5 years, we’re hoping that with all the resurgence of what’s happening downtown here, that we can take benefit of that and have the core resources for that growth.
